Pamela “Penny” Perham is both a Tribal Officer and a suspect. All the action takes place in the dead of winter in Northern Wisconsin, emphasis on the “dead” part. It can only happen in a state where the last word is, SIN. Davecki and crew sort through multiple suspects while navigating the cultural and linguistic challenges of the rural moo-cow state. The witty repartee is fast and furious as is the rural wintertime pitfalls of investigating crime in blizzards and freezing cold temperatures.
